As a partner, Brian manages the strategic planning of the Employee Benefits division of Lawley. He specializes in strategic benefits planning, cost-control strategies, compliance, health care reform, self-funding of all benefit plans, the intricacies of benefit exchanges and third-party administrative services.
Brian possesses expertise in health care reform and its potential impact on employer health plans. He has led numerous seminars on the health care reform provisions, health insurance exchanges and employer penalties. Brian’s deep involvement and knowledge resulted in the appointment to the Regional Advisory Committee, representing Western New York. This committee provides advice and makes recommendations on the planning and operation of the New York State Health Insurance Exchange.
Brian’s benefits industry expertise has led to years of speaking engagements and appearances at tradeshows, radio and cable access television shows as well as numerous interviews with print publications. As an active member of national benefit associations, Brian understands the latest industry trends to bring a high level of consultative services and cost-control initiatives to his clients.

Brian’s intuitiveness led to the implementation of Lawley Marketplace, a regional online private benefits exchange.
