About:

Lori joined Lawley in 2012 with over 20 years of experience, helping open our Long Island/New City office, which was the 8th Lawley location at the time. We have since expanded our tri-state presence with an office in Darien, Connecticut to work closely with offices in Westchester County and Florham Park, New Jersey.

Lori specializes in construction insurance and surety bonding, helping developers and construction firms throughout New York City and Long Island stay protected.

Experience:

Lori began her career in 1994 as a senior surety bond underwriter and worked for 3 major surety companies throughout her career. She brings her extensive underwriting knowledge right into the offices of our clients, benefiting them with enhanced and improved surety programs. In 2006, Lori moved to the agency side where she was responsible for both managing and developing insurance and surety accounts.

Lori was recognized as an “Outstanding Women of the Year in Construction” by the Women Builders Council in 2009 and 2014.

Community and Pro Bono:

Lori was a member of Board of Directors and Fundraising Committee for A Gift from Alexa, a not-for-profit organization for the benefit of autistic children and their families. Lori was also a member of the Community Development Committee for the Hagedorn Little Village School for disabled children. She was the primary member of the fundraising committee for Contractors for Kids, a not-for-profit organization that benefits families financially impacted by the death, illness or disability of a child.
