She began her career on the company side, working for Erie & Niagara Insurance Association, as an Underwriter . In 2005, Marissa began with Lawley Batavia working in Claims, and eventually became a Personal Insurance Account Manager. Marissa now works at the Lawley Rochester branch servicing clients for the New Jersey branch.

Marissa received her New York State Brokers License in 2005 and attends continuing education courses to strengthen her knowledge of products and to learn about the changing environment of insurance. She has been involved with the Lawley Newsletter committee for years switching as a reporter for Batavia branch now to the Rochester branch.

Marissa resides in Chili with her husband and two children.
