About:
Mike leads the Healthcare Practice Group at Lawley, a team of risk management professionals with experience and understanding of the healthcare field as well as its unique exposures. He creates and implements risk management and insurance programs for healthcare facilities and non-profit organizations.
Experience:
Mike joined Lawley in 2012, gaining experience across various departments to understand how to assist healthcare facilities with their insurance needs. Starting in the claims and risk management department, Mike then joined the marketing team where he developed relationships with insurance carriers and identified key markets for many industries. Currently, as the lead of the healthcare practice group, Mike develops solutions to lowers costs, prevent claims, and provide effective and comprehensive coverage for our healthcare facility clients. Prior to working at Lawley, Mike was an AmeriCorps VISTA member at the Homeless Alliance of WNY.
Community and Pro Bono:
Mike spent a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer at the Homeless Alliance of Western New York. He assisted in writing Buffalo’s 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness and is still involved with many homeless outreach organizations. He has also helped organize many junior golf programs throughout the area.
